Dalston Clay
Dalston Clay is a creative wellbeing studio located on the top floor of Bradbury Works, offering pottery alongside meditation and yoga to nurture creativity and wellbeing.
Directed by a local artist and former Ridley Road Studios director, Dalston Clay addresses Hackney’s shortage of affordable studio space while fostering a supportive, social environment for ceramics. The studio offers discounted and work-exchange sessions for all ages, supporting inclusivity and accessibility.
With rising demand, Dalston Clay seeks a ground-floor venue with outdoor space, making Colvestone School an ideal location to continue building community through creative engagement and healthy, creative leisure activities.
Barnaby Hosking of Dalston Clay: “Ceramics practice brings people together; a creative antidote to the isolation and loneliness crisis which society is facing.”
