Bomb Factory

The Bomb Factory Art Foundation is a charitable arts organisation founded in 2015 by artist Pallas Citroen, based in Archway.

The foundation is dedicated to fostering the creation and development of art spaces that support artists and provide audiences with a more inclusive experience. It offers the public opportunities to engage with contemporary art through a diverse range of activities, including exhibitions, educational workshops, film screenings, poetry evenings, music performances, talks, and other cultural events.

Between September 2023 and June 2024, the foundation hosted 73 Learning and Participation events for local schools, community groups, and organisations. During this period, it presented 45 exhibitions across five gallery spaces in London, showcasing both emerging and established artists, with a focus on ambitious, non-commercial shows.

The foundation also provided placements and internships for young people, offered a number of free residencies, and supplied affordable studio spaces for 146 artists across five locations: Archway, Chelsea, Holborn, Marylebone and Covent Garden.
